Chris Igwe BSc. MSc. CEng Eur. Ing.

Chris qualified as a Civil Engineer. Having carried out several key assignments as Construction Manager for Laing Management Contracting, and then as Senior Project Manager Schmidlin (part of the Hilti Corporation), including the development of Stansted airport in England and the MI6 building in London, Chris became European Property Director and Board Member for Foot Locker, Europe, then GAP, the US retailer. Chris was responsible for their highly successful and acclaimed real estate strategies and the securing of some of the best real estate across Europe-France, Germany, Italy, Spain and UK on behalf of GAP.

Chris was the European Managing Director of ICSC, the International Council of Shopping Centers, the world's leading Trade Association on retail real estate. He then founded his own retail consultancy company, which was acquired by CB Richard Ellis. Chris became senior director and head of Retail and Shopping Centres, CB Richard Ellis, Paris, France. After seven years in this role, Chris has moved on from CB Richard Ellis and is now President of Chris Igwe International, a retail and shopping centre advisory firm based in Paris, France.
